About the webmaster

This site was built and is run by SHSXC Coach Matt Brass. Matt is a 1994 graduate of SHS, former SHSXC runner, and still runs to this day. Matt, his wife Angie and their two little girls moved back to Sandpoint in 2005, where they began working as volunteer coaches for the Cross Country team.

This website allows Matt to integrate his love of running, coaching and programming into a single project. Matt has worked as a software engineer, programmer and web developer for the past 11 years. His college degree is Secondary Education, and while he has taught high school social studies, he is currently still working as a software engineer in addition to being the head coach.
