Spokane Valley09/29/2007 Megan Bartlett stormed the Spokane Valley Runners Soul Invitational in a personal record time of 18:41 today to win the race. She led from wire to wire, outpacing the second place runner by 35 seconds. Kat Vardell was 15th, and the girls placed 4th overall and 2nd in their division without Captain Rebecca Johnson who sat out the race with a sore knee.
The boys were led by Captain David Householter, who ran the course in 17:40. Sam Sisson was 2nd for the boys in an 18:15, and Jesse Javana, Tony Charvoz and Matt Sisson all ran strong, finishing under 19 minutes to round off the scoring 5. The boys team was missing their 3rd runner, Tim Householter, who sat out to rest his knee.
